Mineola Healthcare Residence Administrator Lovonia Stone began her new job in September, but her face isn’t new to those who reside or work at 716 Mimosa Street.
Stone worked for the facility from 2000-2005 where she said she’s done everything with the exception of nursing and administering medication. Yet, she continues to learn new tasks daily.
The facility now has two new Medicare wings which makes the environment different and also said the paperwork isn’t the same. “It’s fading out. Everything is going to the computer because long term care stays with the modern world. It’s a learning process,” Stone said.
What brought Stone back?
